Amanda was always running, she ran to think, to escape home, to face her Father's death, then her husband's. When she needs to run most, she can't. Prison won't allow mothers who kill their children to run free.
When she faced trouble now she could only run away in her mind, perhaps this is why she can't remember strangling her son and daughter. Is her faith in God real, or an escape? Or, was it her late husband's father that caused all the mayhem? Since money is so important to him, maybe he didn't want them to inherit any money.
There are so many interesting facets to this story! It kept me on the edge of my seat til the end. The beginning seemed fragmented as the story lines were drawn out, but once it gained steam, it was an awesome book!
I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys an intriguing story that isn't predictable. You'll be thinking about it long after reading it =)

Wasn't it amazing? I loved it!!!!! I expected a lot from Paul from the excerpts posted on the fan page, and a few of his short stories I was privileged to read, but he exceeded my hopes!! I recommend this book to everyone!!
ReplyDeleteYes! It was a very good story. I had to keep reading to the end because I wanted to find out what happened. The event in the morgue was quite a twist! and the last page makes me want to know what the next one is going to be~smirk!
ReplyDeleteIt was AWESOME!!! Great review Lori!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous. Cindy want even share with me. Not even who did it, and I am one of those who flips to the back of the book and reads the last page then finds out how it happened. I hope the 3 days passes quickly. To bad I can`t get it from CBD though thats where I get most of my ebooks.
ReplyDeleteIt will be on smashwords soon. The 16th is coming soon =) It's worth the wait!
