As we approach the holiday season, we are reminded to give thanks for what we have.
As one person said to me recently, we should have Thanksgiving more often so people can appreciate what they have more.
I agree that being thankful isn't just a one day event, but a daily outlook.

Here are a few verses I found through Bible gateway, I'm thankful for that helpful resource:

Give
thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
2 Chronicles 5:13

Ezra 3:11
With praise and
thanksgiving they sang to the LORD: “He is good; his love toward Israel endures forever.” And all the people gave a great shout of praise to the LORD
Psalm 7:17
I will give
thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness; I will sing the praises of the name of the LORD Most High.
Matthew 26:26
While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given
thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples...
Mark 6:41
Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave
thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people. He also divided the two fish among them all.
Romans 1:21
For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave
thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened
Romans 7:25
Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!
1 Corinthians 10:16
Is not the cup of
thanksgiving for which we give
thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ?
I hope you have an awesome holiday season and find deeper meaning in what we celebrate <3
